Abstract
1970 onwards. Due to changing forest surfaces and for reasons of comparabilitywith other countries, the intensity of investments is calculated as quotient between surface of biological investments and entire forestDs surface. Over the past few years, a decrease in investments was observed, and proposals for solving the current situation are brought forward. Owing to different forest conditions, a different categorisation of forest silviculturework, varying traditions and economic power, an objective comparison is much complicated.
