Abstract

Delo obravnava sukcesijski razvoj gozda v gozdnem rezervatu Mozirska požganija. Na podlagi analize gozda v letu 1988 in primerjave z raziskavami v preteklih štiridesitih letih podaja smeri in hitrosti sukcesijskih sprememb vegetacije. Razvojni procesi so zaradi pionirskega značaja mladega gozda hitri in pestri. Malopovršinska prepletenost različnih sukcesijskih stadijev daje gozdu heterogen videz. Raznovrstnost razvojnih procesov in strukture gozda pomenita poskus narave ohraniti in razvijati življenje v ekstremnih razmerah, ki vladajo na požganiji.
